We are Strong. We are Resilient.
We are Essential. We are Community.
Yes, these are challenging times, so hard for so many, but this is when America shines- with innovation and the drive to win as independent, strong and resilient individuals- joining together to make life better.
And yes, each of us is essential to our families, friends, businesses, communities, pets, environments, and building the bright future that we all can see is possible. Our work, our creativity whether in developing new microbial soil nutrients like Bio SI Technology, ensuring the CPG natural products supply chain evolves to a value chain lead by such innovators as GreenSeed Packaging, or sustainably harvesting nutrients from the sea, like Vitamin Sea Seaweed, all of us are critically needed and appreciated.
The challenges of today test our resilience, possibly more than anything else in last 50 years. It was a kind note from a dear friend in England, Rhoda, who I have had the privilege to enjoy her humor, intellect and artistic life for many years, shared stories of surviving WWII there in the UK countryside. With her dad growing their food, and working together, they and many others survived the daily threat at their border, a threat that could have changed everything they held near and dear- even if they would speak English or German in the future. Resilience is the ability to bounce back, be buoyant, stay cheerful.
Being independent is a core characteristic of the American spirit- essential to preserving our freedoms, those so well outlined in our foundational document, The Constitution. Another dear friend, John Chambers, has written: The Constitution of the United States: A Study Guide, available on Amazon, an easy to read guide to a document we all should understand. We do not want to lose our freedoms under the guise of national solutions during stressful times.
Being strong is not always measured in miles run, weight lifted or volume and intensity in representing one’s personal views in a discussion. Strong is reflected in one’s moral decisions, being well-skilled, well-versed and proficient. Strong in commerce means steadily good and advancing, firm and active. Now is the time to be strong in all aspects of our lives, make ethical decisions, if needed, build a new … and better model. Be strong and help those who need a new idea, a new source of supply, renewed hope.
Together we will win. The good guys always do.
