We as a species have resolved to allow ourselves a specified day to review our past, possibly analyze the wins and losses, learn from our challenges, admire our successes, and decide goals for our future. Some take this day to define resolutions for self-improvement or business betterment. For some the list is long. For others, a single word becomes the North Star that encompasses all human and earthkind.
The beauty of this tradition is the exercise of being willing to create one’s own future, knowing that we are source of all that is to come, based on our willingness to look forward. Yes, it is a challenge and can be scary to decide one’s future, restricted only by one’s own considerations and possibly by an acceptance of others’ dominance and distractions. If one considers a lack of advanced education or social opportunity a deterrent to accomplishing new goals, take a moment and realize that at some time in the past, these were a future that you created. Perhaps you created these because at the time they seemed popular or considered beneficial- like those old bell bottoms hanging in your closet of experiences.
For me, as a business philosopher, I create a future every day that provides our team the privilege to help others take their Dreams to Mainstream, to create future positive impact with other’s innovative ideas and game changing concepts. Our future is exciting. Our expertise is precise yet nimble. Our goals for 2024 to offer our help to all who want success in their future.
Like Eleanor Roosevelt said: ‘the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams’.
So on January 1st take time to dream big. Your future depends on it. We are here to help.
Then go enjoy some good football, a good hike or time with loved ones!
