The opportunity for entrepreneurs in South America to build high impact companies grounded in sustainability and innovation is at an all-time high, yet resources and experienced guidance to expand globally is critically limited. On June 10th and 11th, Christie & Co together with Kiwa, The LOHAS Group, Impacto Quito, PRO ECUADOR, and CBIS launched the KIWA Investment Summit in Quito, Ecuador to support the development of high growth, ethical Latin American entrepreneurs. The goal of the event was to bring together promising entrepreneurs with leading investors, world leaders, and growth experts from around the world.
The event curated a group of high growth entrepreneurs defined by unique business models and differentiated products and services that also generate financial, social, and environmental returns in Latin America. Selected entrepreneurs received mentoring, and had the opportunity to engage experts and potential growth resources to support their continued expansion.
In addition to a roster of remarkable speakers that included Tom Chi CEO, Factory X and formerly Google X; Luis Benitez, a world renowned mountaineer & executive leadership development expert, and Abigail Noble, Head of Impact Investing for the World Economic Forum, the KIWA summit hosted 20 dynamic, innovative high growth presenting companies, 10 exhibiting startups, and an incredible roster of leading investors from around the world.
Voz, one of the Summit’s presenting brands led by its founder, Jasmine Aarons, shared these glowing thoughts about her experience; “The event was by design the perfect structure, enabling every single person to connect and help one another there in a humble yet elegant environment where nobody would feel out of place. To organize an event of this level of integrity, intelligence, authentic, and intimacy, and financially enable us to participate, is in and of itself a gift to each person in attendance. However in the case of VOZ, to have gone so far out of your way to feature me there and get your whole team behind my attendance, was to me in this moment the gift of a lifetime.”
The next KIWA summit could be scheduled in your country. Share with us your thoughts on why.
