Bewitched. Halloween and Beyond.

Imagine that one could change the world, repair a business relationship, rebuild rapidly after a supply chain upset, shift a culture with the mere twitch of one’s nose.

Why can’t we change conflict to cooperation, remove trials and tribulation, transform noise to understanding, convert complexity to simplicity with a bit of magic?

When we were younger, we knew we could make things happen, and imbue life with effervescence. We built castles out of sand, treehouses out of old boards, became Olympic track stars gracefully jumping over sawhorses in the back yard.  With rain, we moved inside and built adventures out of bedsheets, all with the unrestrained freedom to create.

Yes, volumes have been written on the complexity of business, the challenges of success, the confusions in relationship building, and the impossibility of overcoming the competition. Inner magic and bewitching excitement was overlooked, and even rejected.

It’s time to sprinkle a bit of magic, and truth.

Take the core building blocks of any business, once shared with me from a high-powered consultant, who secretly shared this to ensure he kept his job. Business success requires 4 basic elements:

PROMOTE
SELL
DELIVER
COLLECT

Yes, each element has systems, technologies, and consultants whose advice, if too complex, likely is not forwarding your goals or reducing stress.  However, these are the basics of business and applied daily will bring a dream to mainstream. The secret that makes it all work… is your ability to create, to imbue purpose and convert challenges to success.

Let’s dismiss the idea that our magic ends in youth or only a few carry it forward. We merely need to re-ignite the spark – the belief in our ability to create in wild abandon without consideration of perceived restrictions.

Life can be effervescent, and your inner magic will make it sparkly, with or without a twitch of your nose.
