Dan Krause

Dan has over 30 years experience in the Grocery industry. He has extensive experience as a financial analyst for General Mills as well as Account Management in sales. Dan sold all of the General Mills brands to various retail customers including Big G cereal, Gold Medal, Yoplait Yogurt, Nature Valley Snacks, Chex Cereals, Gorton’s Seafood and Betty Crocker products. Dan also worked for Zatarain’s of New Orleans and developed business planning and trade promotion tools that grew Zatarain’s business and enhanced the sale of Zatarain’s brand to McCormick in 2004.

At McCormick & Co, Dan was the Director of Sales Operations, which supported Sales by integrating new businesses in the McCormick portfolio. Dan led the integration of Zatarain’s, Simply Asia-Thai Kitchen, and others.

In 2011 Dan retired from McCormick and started his business consulting practice, where he has assisted both domestic and import food and beverage businesses across all Channels. Now as the Growth Expert at Christie & Co, he is leading innovative brands to greater success.
