What’s love got to do with it?

Business dialogue does not often include concepts like profound knowledge or love, terms often relegated to esoteric lectures or romantic ballads. Industry conversations are bracketed with statistics, timed pitches, controlling negotiations, and the acronyms of the day. Whoever thought a hockey stick would symbolize projected future corporate success. And when did admiration for a business or product become merely a push of the “like” icon instead of a loyal purchase?
